PERRY CAMPAIGN RELEASES NEW WEB AD

SANDWICH – The Jeff Perry for Congress campaign released a new Web video today that is harshly critical of the $13 trillion national debt.

According to the ad, the $13 trillion national debt is the highest level of debt the country has experienced since World War II. The ad challenges people to think of what they can do about the situation and suggests that people "vote differently" as an idea.

"We need to wake up Washington," says Jeff Perry in the ad. "We can no longer afford to keep spending while borrowing from other countries. After World War Two, we Americans were willing to pay off our debts. The question is: Are we willing to pay off our debts in 2010?"

Jeff Perry Comments On Supreme Court's Second Amendment Ruling

Statement of Jeff Perry on the Supreme Court’s Decision Extending Second Amendment Rights to the Fifty States

“I applaud today’s Supreme Court ruling that builds on the Heller case and confirms constitutional protections for Americans who own firearms.

"The Second Amendment provides every American important guarantees which are designed to make our democracy stronger. These protections enhance personal freedoms and also permit our citizens to defend themselves from tyranny. And they are protections that no individual state should be allowed to dilute.

"I strongly support strict interpretation of the Constitution, including strong support for the protections offered by the Second Amendment. In a society where constitutional protections are constantly being eroded, it is refreshing that the Supreme Court chose today to reaffirm such important guarantees for firearm ownership and to extend them to the states by way of the Fourteenth Amendment.”
