PERRY WINS PLYMOUTH REPUBLICAN TOWN COMMITTEE STRAW POLL
SANDWICH – Jeff Perry continued his impressive streak of straw poll victories tonight, as an overwhelming majority of the Plymouth Republican Town Committee selected him as their candidate of choice for the 10th Congressional District.
Perry received 71 votes, compared to 12 votes for Ray Kasperowicz, 6 votes for Joseph Malone, and 2 votes for Robert E. Hayden, III.
The vote marks the latest in a series of straw poll victories for Perry, who received 59 percent of the vote in a field of eight candidates in a straw poll conducted by the Plymouth County GOP in June. Perry also received 95 percent of the votes in the Cape Cod Republican Club straw poll at their annual meeting in May. A straw poll conducted by the Sandwich Republican Town Committee also selected Perry as the candidate of choice in April.
"It is great to see so many people participating in the political process in Plymouth County," said Perry. "I am honored to have their support."
